Hi there,

how about a simple "new preset" button in MPowerSynth (or maybe in MXXX as well ... you know: the things, which are quite complex :D ) ?

best,

I think I've asked for this before. A 'reset to default' settings button would be awesome for all melda plugins. I've taken to opening the preset window and clicking on the 'default' preset in the root. Some plugins dont have a default though. I think having it reset to the same default as set by the user default settings that you can set up when you open a new plug in would be better.

Hi Manu,

well, that's exactly what the presets are for. There may be some plugins without a default preset, but you can always create your own, or take a default from a different A-H, or something.

thats really sad and kind of lame  especially if there is no default preset in a specific plugin. its not about a whole new feature but a simple button or maybe a right click with context for a very often used function. but why make it easy if someone can do the same with 10 additional steps :D thats the spirit of MPS i experienced

No reason for the lame attitude, I like having an additional step before resetting everything even if you can just undo it.

I do like the idea of using a modifier like ctrl or shift to go to the default preset, or a user specified preset.

i am sorry. i did not want to offend someone or hurt your feelings dude  and i think after all the critics MeldaProduction gets he can handle this as well
but that is what i can say after testing MPowerSynth for a week. and with that big amount of parameters you can tweak already, a "new" or "init" button would not be a big deal.

Yes, that's how I do it all the time. I just wanted to post an idea, which could probably improve the workflow. And I thought: asking is for free. ;)

(Does this adage exists in english as well? "Asking is for free"? :D )

As always, Vojtech: thanks for your reply!
