Concerning the doc you have two options to simulate a sub osc:

1) activate Fractalize "saw", leave amount to zero. Disadvantage: Fixed level of sub.

2) second PD wave? Could not figure out how to set the second wave one octave lower.

But how about the LFO? Yes, it's possible to use it as a sub oscillator. :wink:

Set LFO rate to 2.12.

To map the key to pitch I use the mapping generator.
C3 = 0, C4 = 20, C5 = 40 etc.

The level can be set by the Amp Mod knob.

Disadvantage of this method: LFO does not run @ audio rate, so it sounds dirty in the upper key range.

1) "Disadvantage: Fixed level of sub". Try the "max" mode instead

2) To set oscillators lower, read the bit about the parameter 'Tune' on page 12 of the manual.
BTW The rest of the manual is also worth reading ;-)

3) The LFO won't track with a linear 'Map'.

It did not track when I used Keyfollow directly as source for LFO-Rate-Mod.

With the mapping it tracks correctly (as far as I can trust my bad ears).
To set oscillators lower, read the bit about the parameter 'Tune' on page 12 of the manual.
That is clear. My questions was how to tune the second wave down without affecting the tune of the first wave.

Thanks for the tips. Still have a lot to learn about this synth.

Ah I understand now. Sorry, "detuning" the second half of the wave with respect to the first isn't possible.
