DIVA- is there a way to have MultiCore turned on at startup by default?

That would be great if it could be done. :)

Hi what daw are you on?
are you on Cubase if I remember correctly?
if so you can save a default patch for diva and any other vsti/vst. I save one with the multicore on, and whichever patch I use it is always on.

I asked the same question. Here's Urs' response........

The number of instances that should have it on varies from machine to machine. I think that 2-5 might be okay on a fast machine, but beyond that one should either work without, maybe use "fast" with best for offline rendering or freeze.

We know however that many people experience performance issues with multiple instances using the multicore option. Hence we must keep it a conscience decision to switch it on.
The Template solution is an acceptable workaround. You just have to load DIVA from your list of Templates rather from your list of Plugins. I tried to setup a Default patch in Reaper but was not successful. I should probably try again..........

For Reaper I'd just do a track template.

Open an instance of Diva or any other plugin for that matter. Set it up exactly how you want, preset, preferences, gui size etc.
and right click near the header....one of the options will be save as default..
