Some songs render transposed

Hi,

Lately Tracktion 6 has rendered a couple of songs two semitones lower than they should be.
All the tracks I've put up are in the key of D, but after rendering, the finished wav-file is in C. :(

Why is this? Have I accidentally edited a value somewhere to lower the song, or something like that?

Please, help me figure this out!

Hello.

I have previously experienced similar problems.
Is it possible that the sample rate is misinterpreted? I'm no expert but WAVs must contain some metadata for sample rate.

You could try inspecting the properties on the rendered file to see if its what you expect.
However the problem could be within the audio engine with incorrect conversion.

If a 48kHz track is replayed at 44.1kHz, I believe it will be about a tone lower.

I haven't had this lately but I blamed an old Tascam driver which seemed to switch sample rates at will.

Good luck
