Here is a preset I came up with for MXXX. I wanted to simulate the effect of moving a mic around in a room. I used filters and a few delays. I really should have calculated things a bit more accurately, but hopefully it will be useful to people until MSpace(good name right) is released. Below are some sound samples. The trumpet example has a few weird sounds because of the shifting delay times.

I know I asked about this before(http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... S#p6185090) , but after trying to do this myself and seeing how little CPU it takes, I wanted to ask if it would be possible to have 2 stereo mic pairs per instance. For example have one pair 3m from the source and another 10m back, with the ability to blend the sounds together. I can't wait for this to be released. I'm sure it will be killer for acoustic music that needs depth and dimension.

What do you mean by the "2 stereo mic pairs"? Where? Why?

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I mean basically have 2 instances of what I did in 1 plugin. For example for orchestra, many times 3 sets of mics are used. Close mics, tree mics and ambient mics. Many sample libraries have the close mics, but not the tree mics or the ambient mics. Instead of having 2 instances of MSpace on a track, having 2 different mic distances that we're able to blend would be preferable(of course as always a mix knob for the wet dry too). I know some guitarist such as Steve Vai do something similar. Close mics, another mic about 4 to 6 feet back and then stereo room mics.
I said stereo mic pairs because the sound is in stereo and of course you need 2 mics for that, but I see how that could be confusing.
