Figured out how to place them in my edit (with 'i', 'o' keyboard shortcuts) but not sure how to get rid of them. Any tips? Many thanks.

I don't know if they even can be deleted, but you can do one of two things:

1. Just leave them wherever they are and ignore them. If you're not in punch or loop mode, they don't do anything and don't hinder anything else you're doing.

2. If the issue is that you find them visually distracting, just put them both at the zero point at the beginning by hitting home, I, O. (Then make sure you're not in punch or loop mode.)

There was another thread about this recently:

Many thanks. Got out of loop mode. Will keep home, I, O shortcut in mind when I have a keyboard with the home key.

You can remap the home key under Settings / Keyboard settings to a key that does exist on your keyboard, if that's any use?

You want to remap the key Move cursor to start of marked clip or edit, under Moving/Zooming controls

If you are on a Mac laptop, Fn + Left works as Home. But as noted above you can remapped it to anything you want.

Remapped, done. Many thanks.
