Auto-pitch

When Creating a "master" (Clip) from an edit I get a two track clip in a different pitch. If I pick the track the properties indicate that "pitch controls are currently unavailable as the clip is in auto-pitch mode". How do I get change that so the clip comes in in the same pitch as the edit?
