THe update rate of ace's ramp envelope is fixed @ 2800 hertz...
This is clearly audible when the ramp is used as a control source .
The quality settings has no influence of the update/control rate, iow it's fixed at 2800 HZ .


Bazille's ramp update rate is @ S.R.



Also ace has a dc blocking filter which imho is cutting of way too muck low end ...around 60hz
Clever trick of u-he to put the osciloscope pre the dc blocker .

Hi,

The Ramp in both ACE and Bazille operates at control rate (samplerate/4). I'll need to check interpolation in ACE, but of course the Ramp isn't bandlimitted as it was never meant to be used as audio rate oscillator.

The DC blocker is part of the EQ embedded in the FX section. If you upgrade from ACE 1.0 (seen in your screenshot) to ACE 1.4 (current version) you can switch the FX section off and the DC blocker with it.

As you can see from the screenshot , the control rate is not s.R/4 ...it's 2800 Hz .

2800Hz can't be right. The control rate must be a divisor of the sample rate.

Just donwloaded thr latest version .
It's obvious that the ramp env.is not updated at S.R/4
It' s 2800 Hz ( could be a bit off )
The control rate is audible and if you zoom in at rendered slection of the ramp , you will actually see the steps inntroduced by the control rate .
