Under El Capitan you can start the daw only one time, then you must log off / log on or you do the Terminal command.
Sry but this Suxx, the problem wouldnt be fixed since the last version numbers.
Bitiwg / Dom you do a great job but pls fix this problem.

I know this is a pain in the ass, but I don't think it's that difficult to have terminal open and just hit UP then ENTER. Up brings up the last entered line, so it's not like you have to keep typing in that long ass string

are there any other special-capitan-bugs or only this?
next week i´ll get a new hw with preinstalled capitan (and i guess no way to downgrade).
and how is this terminal line, you write about?
thx.

great idea. for me its easier just to keep the latest install mounted and recopy bitwig on top of itself. Well, for OSX anyways. Takes 5 seconds and I'm not opening the program through a shell. I know its just as easy to run the script again too. But I find this way easiest.

btw for those who are using the terminal to open up BW. Instead of retyping the command every time, all one simple has to do is press the "up" key on the keyboard to bring up the last used command.

We are working with Apple on this one. Other applications also have the same problem so it is not specific to Bitwig Studio. Unfortunately, we can't fix Apple's code for them but we are helping them as much as we can to find out the cause ;-(

I think I'm ok waiting at this point. Considering that my other DAW Cubase Artist 8 won't have an El Capitan compatibility fix til the end of December (official statement by Steinbery)! WTF!? I will not be able to even open the program til then. Makes me think Bitwig is doing pretty good. I know its annoying, but, just saying...
