Today we uploaded the V3.009 beta version for Mac OS X

What's new in v3.009

• Crash on OS X 10.9.5 with Logic Pro X 10.2 fixed.
• Crash on invalid preset names fixed.
• Export bank to presets bug fixed.

We have just released the new Sylenth1 v3.008 beta for Mac OS X

What's new in v3.008
• Now supports both 32 and 64bit (Universal Binary) VST and AU.
• Sample accurate automation added.
• AllSoundOff initialization bug fixed.
• Phaser initialization bug fixed.
• Activation error 22 fixed.
• Ctrl-click on parameters for MidiLearn added.
• MidiLearn not saving parameters bug fixed.
• Paths for sandboxed hosts corrected.
• Keyboard input for multiple instances fixed.
• CPU spikes issue fixed.
• Clicks and pops during automation issue fixed.
• Loading times improved.
• Numerous other minor bugs and issues removed.

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE FOR LOGIC USERS !!!
The automation resolution needed to be corrected in Sylenth1 v3.008. Unfortunately, due to a bug in Logic, any automation that was recorded with the previous beta versions (v3.000 to v3.007), will therefore be decreased by a factor of 100/127 (or 78%). Please make sure to check any projects created with the previous beta version. Select all automation and increase it by a factor of 127/100 (or 127%), as shown below.

It is recommended to take screenshots of the automation in all projects before installing v3.008. Then, after installing v3.008, you can adjust the automation to the levels in the screenshots.

Please note that this does NOT apply to projects created with the v2.x versions of Sylenth1! These will still load correctly. Also this seems to affect only Logic. Other hosts, such as Ableton Live, will keep the automation unchanged.

If you need to re-install v3.007 to check the automation (although this is not recommended!), you can temporarily still download it via MENU -> Check for updates in Sylenth1.

hey guys,

I just downloaded the 3.008 update and logic keeps crashing. Please advise. I am on mavericks mac osx 10.9.5

Is there a way to get the 3.007 pkg in the mean time?

Man they could spend months chasing one Mac bug after another. The windows version could have been done and working rock solid on everything from Win Xp to Win 10 by now............

Haven't had any issues with Logic 10.2.0 on Mavericks 10.9.5

Please Mac people can you stop reporting bugs so they can work on the PC version which will be rock solid with all OS and then they can go back to working with the unstable mac.

Thank you for the offer. I appreciate it. Luckily i remembered i had a time machinr back up so i was able to go back. So im good for now

Anyone else have any issues?

Hey guys,

i want to buy Sylenth1 in the new version for Mac Os (Logic Pro X 64bit).
Is there a download especially for this version?
Or simply download the "normal" Sylenth1 and get the update by opening it in Logic?

i asked this in another thread here (so, apologies), but can i use the beta in production projects? i don't want to use it then find out something won't recall, or load, a few months down the line. anyone? miss sylenth1 (abandoned it when logic went 64bit only)...

As you can see there are still some risks using beta. But I use it already. Yesterday I had issues with 3008, rolled back to 3007 and it worked again.

At the moment it seems they really work hard on this update.
