When I create a new Midi-track in Live 9.5 , it is created with the Zebra vst from U-he loaded on it. Also the track is named "Zebra 2".
If I remove Zebra 2 from my vst library, and create a new midi-track, the new track is still named "Zebra 2", and has a Device saying saying : Disabled.
is it Zebra 2 doing this or is it Live or maybe both

Sounds like maybe you've saved a default MIDI track in Ableton at some point?
You can undo/resave the default like this:
Right click on the top of the track (empty MIDI one) and choose 'Save as Default MIDI Track' at the bottom.
