Percentage of ram available for use

I have run into the 30% ceiling of ram availability using live mode, and would like to be able to have more patches immediately available for use than this ram limit allows. It seems to me that with 16 gigs of ram that the system should not need to sequester 4.8 gigs for it's own use. I had a pro max with only 4 gigs of ram and I was able to use at least 75% of that. I have talked to tech support and they said it was a limit built into the architecture and that using a higher percentage than 70% could make the system unstable. Any thoughts or perspective? The reason this is a big deal to me is that I use the Receptor for live accompaniment that is improvised-I am never quite sure which sound I will need next and having an arsenal of sounds available for immediate program changes is the reason that I have stuck with Receptor, and the main reason I did the big upgrade to a Quattro! The sounds that I am using keep getting more ram intensive, thanks to the amazing work of developers like Soniccouture and Embertone.
Best regards,
Nathan

Hey, saw the post because you mentioned our name! Please forgive me for the obvious answer, but... Have you considered doubling down on your RAM?

I'm working on a project right now that is pushing my 48GB to the limit, one of these days I'm going to have to take the plunge for 128GB (if this trend continues)

Hope you find an acceptable solution!!

Alex,
Thanks for the reply! As far as I am aware, the Quattro will only allow 16gb. If anyone on the forum has other info, please let me know.
BTW, I love using the Blakus Cello for live performance!
