Hello Vojtech,
in Reaper 5 I have a big problem with your analyzers. The volume of my audiotrack is zero, but I can see the audio in the graph of your analyzers. It´s reacting like prefader mode?!
Thanks and greets
Marek

I know a workaround in Ableton. I guess you could try this in reaper.
Change the audio out of the track to another track and place the analyser on the second track. Then if you use the fader on the first track it will reflect correctly in the analyser.
The ideal solution however would be to see if there is a way in reaper to select FX as pre or post.

Just thought of a better way:Svama wrote:Does someone have a workaround or solution for reaper?
Use a plugin before the analyser that has a volume control and simply use that instead of the track fader.

Don't know Reaper, but in Ableton Live for example you can juste route your audio track A to an audio track B and put the analyzer on Track B. (or group audio track A, and put the analyzer on the group bus)
You can surely do the same thing in Reaper?

Yes, you can. The default for the Send is "Post-fader (post-pan)".

Have you tried this yet? It's simple to do and will give you the result you need.jmg8 wrote:Just thought of a better way:Svama wrote:Does someone have a workaround or solution for reaper?

Something real different, but maybe someone know something. Since I updated at Win 10 I get more and more audio problems while playback. I´m using a RME Babyface with the latest drivers, but I have audio crackling, popping all the time and mostly while I´m scrolling in my projects!
I already disabled the Win 10 enhancements, but that didn´t help.
Thanks for any hints

Hi,
make a new track with the analyzer in the fx chain and create a post fader send from the originating track to the new track. Well, a lot of clutter but that's the way you have to handle it in Reaper, since there are no post fader inserts.
For frequency only inspection it's ok to put it in directly pre fader (except in conjunction with collision control).
Cheers
