I've got two weeks off work to do album work ....
I just used AVG PC Tune Up and it's running a lot better now ...
However I'm using the jamstix plugin for drums and it's just greyed out, no longer working! It only appears to happen for jamstix. I'm using Tracktion 6.
Any ideas?

The plugin has gone missing from the list.
I'm pointing to C:\jamstix3 but no luck.
Also get a message saying ReWire.dll isn't loading??

So everything is great apart from one song.
Two of the recorded guitar tracks seem to have disappeared.
I have a backup but even when copying its contents back to the T6 folder, it can't find that file
This really sucks.
Even stranger.... those two files don't even appear to be in the last two backups I made - it's like they never existed :s

I suspect that's due to the subject line. It helps to be descriptive, so readers will know what you're doing and need to know. Otherwise, lots of people will open the thread, see that they can't help, and move on. Others won't even read it.thomasross20 wrote:36 views and no reply?
I think you can edit the first post in any thread you start, to add info that might bring the kind of expertise you need or to update it with new information.
The only advice I can offer is to search your computer for multiple copies of rewire.dll, and keep only the newest (to be safe, don't delete old ones but rename them to something like "rewire.dll.OLD", in case it turns out file time-stamps don't reflect dll release dates). Past that there's just this on the Tracktion site:
http://www.tracktion.com/faqs/install-configure-rewire
Glad you've got things nearly fixed, and I hope you're able to get that last song working.

Thanks - a more descriptive header in future, for sure.
I think I'm just going to have to completely re-record that one song. Sucks but that's life.
Never again will I try to optimise my PC mid-way through an album recording!
