The more I use MuLab the more I love it!
But: What do you think about a MIDI-mixer in the rack-area?
As there are multi-channel-plugins on the market I can route up to 16 tracks sending on different MIDI-channels to one rack and the VST in the slot will have up to 16 sounds asigned to these channels. But as far as I see, volume and pan can be adjusted on the VST only right now.
To manage this, I started building a MUX-device with (until now) 4 MIDI-volume and 4 MIDI-pan-faders mixing with event-in and sending all that to event-out. This mixer can be inserted in Slot 1 and the VST in Slot 2.
That works, but:
1) It's floating somewhere and not integrated in the rack area.
2) In case there is a mess between the faders on the VST and on my MUX nothing will happen until a fader on the MUX-MIDI-mixer is moved. But I think, MuLab should read these fader-data on run-command.
Or is there another possibility?

Maybe it can be done "the easy way":
In case a rack is switched as Audio-Output, Fader and Pan behave as Audio-Volume/Pan.
If the rack is selected to be Event-Output, the fader adds Midi-Vol and the pan-knob adds Midi-Pan.
