I have yet to decide on a main DAW so before deciding I should at least check out Mulab.
If audio parts (clips) overlap on a track can you have it so both can be heard?
Can then bounce the parts in place?
Is there real-time VSTi recording and with a visual waveform?
Is there a Scrub and/or a Play tool that will play any audio or midi part at any location desired?
Can Audio parts have their own audio fx?
Can an audio part have its own automation?
I checked out some videos which weer helpful but did not help me with my questions.
A few stupid questions

Yes overlapping parts all play fine.Kalamata Kid wrote:If audio parts (clips) overlap on a track can you have it so both can be heard?
That's not yet supported. Can then bounce the parts in place?
Yes you can connect an audio recorder to a VSTi's output and record it. There also is an oscilloscope module so you can indeed visualize the waveform. Is there real-time VSTi recording and with a visual waveform?
No.Is there a Scrub and/or a Play tool that will play any audio or midi part at any location desired?
No, not yet.Can Audio parts have their own audio fx?
No, automation is done using separate parts. Can an audio part have its own automation?

Well, to be more precise: You can bounce a part (or selection of parts) into a new audio part on a new audio track.mutools wrote:That's not yet supported.Kalamata Kid wrote:Can then bounce the parts in place?

Thanks for the prompt replies.
I may just give MuLab a try.
