Big fan of Melda. I own Creative Bundle, Mxxx Core, Melda Align and others.. There has to be a way to disable Melda launching the internet browser on presets that can't load in Mxxx Core. I don't expect the presets to which I don't own corresponding plugins to launch but I can't tolerate the launching of an internet browser which takes over the screen, interrupts my workflow and creativity. Can we please have an option to turn off the marketing? A flashing prompt somewhere on the Mxxx gui that invites us to go to the webpage would be fine. If this can be done already I apologize. I searched this forum for any reference to this issue and came up empty.

+1, this is the reason I uninstalled mdrummer small. Even if only at a plugin scan, after the thousandth
time I had had enough. Its worse with MXXX, its possible that it could cause problems if your doing something
to strain your system resources at the time, then all of the sudden your browser launches. Those with
older systems could potentially lose work as a result.

Thank you! I'll edit my post to reflect your typical helpful response. By the way I am posting presets to the preset share. Mine are tagged JSH.... I am just scratching the surface but I am very impressed with what can be attained with a few module and some creative tweaking.

I'm glad this is being addressed....it is annoying. An easy alternative would be for a link to be displayed IF someone wants to go in search of the required module.
By the way, where is the preset share site - I don't see any obvious link in MXXX.

Where is the preset share site?
It is linked to the Mxxx interface. To access it you have to first create a preset. In the load preset dialog box you can submit your own preset. One you submit the preset it will download the user created presets to a new folder in your preset directory. It is all handled through Mxxx.... no internet browser needed.
