I know this is not a new request... but please can you remove the 'unit' suffix.
perhaps not the most pressing issue... but its a bit of a pain on the Push, where it takes up screen space.

Things is, a fix for this will cost one developer easily two weeks. Hundreds of files have to be inspected for parameter structures and appropriate unit labels need to be found. I'm furthermore afraid in the majority of cases there is nothing to truely set it to, other than, say, "percent". I'd reckon that only about 10% of our parameters are "dB", "semitones" or "Hertz".

why do you have to put appropriate units... if thats tricky?, its fine without any units
(and if you use the word unit for everything... it doesn't have any value... so might as well not be there )

I checked quite a few plugins I own and this appears to be the norm... they all just display ranged values/text.... with the exception of percentages, which some display a %

This issue, along with the other about the value displayed is coming more frequently becaise of Push and similar controlelr which display the name of parameters and their value if I am not mistaken. In the past that issue didn't was so obvious because people only edited the plug in, but now with Push screens and the desire to not look at the computer screen this implementation becomes annoying.

So yeah, considering how popular those controllers are becoming I hope Urs finds the time to fix this as well as the values names.
