I have been trying to use the latest Tracktion build as a host for various Native Instruments plugins, among them Reaktor, Kontakt and the soon-to-be released Guitar Rig (I'm a beta tester). None of the NI plugs will accept typing in the plugin interface, for example to name patches or use the Del key to remove an instrument in Kontakt. The computer keyboard is completely ignored. This does not appear to be a problem with other plugins (I tested typing values into Waves plugins and SFX Machine, no problem...), so it must be an NI issue and i will alert the developers to it - but I wonder if anyone has found a workaround or is using NI VSTis without problems in Tracktion Mac version??

Yeah, dont I love Native Instruments! Ive purcased Reaktor Sessions for more than 7 months ago, still not working as it should. Ive bin bitcin them a lot about this, I mean when you by a product, youd like it to work right away! Not many people wish to by a hot product of software, keep it on the shelf for a year, and then see if it will work?
They are uppdating, but they are sooooo slow!
Do you have the GUI promlem with Kontakt in Tracktion, also? You cant close it, and its out of the screen, you must change the screenresolution on the computer everytime you restart tracktion, nice? (mac)
I say bye-bye to Kontakt now, and a lot of other big-shots. Killing workflow, kills music, simple as that. And im a musician, so by-by to lousy intergration coded Vstis´!
NI will release updates, if you will like to wait.

Typing values into Absynth and Pro53 from within Tracktion works fine here. OSX 10.3.4, Tracktion 1.5.1.1.

I own nearly every NI instrument. They all work fine in Tracktion more or less. I also cant use the delete key with Kontakt.....I told Jules about this one WAY WAY back in the mac beta stages of Tracktion and Jules and I think he looked into it and emailed NI with little help. Hopefully it will get worked out.
