A collaboration between Weather M and myself that we'd like to share with you. The theme of this track evolved little by little after a couple of months of gradually sending different sounds back and forth. The end result was a pleasant surprise (for me at least) and am honored to have been a part of it with such a talented artist.
Synths used-
Massive
Dune 2
Nave
Zebra 2
Hive
Sampler -Kontakt 5
If anyone is interested here is one of the custom Dune 2 patches used in the track.

hmmm all those new whiz-bang plugins and you probably could have done this with a single korg wavestation patch.
ok, maybe not.. but close. the mix is good, but i kept expecting it to evolve into something different by the minute mark.

Thanks! I agree. We could've easily just stuck with one or two plugins for sure, but half of the fun was being able to explore different synths, even if they only contributed a second or two of sound. As for the mix, we did keep it on the simple side. Maybe the next one will have more adventure now that we have gotten use to each others style.layzer wrote:hmmm all those new whiz-bang plugins and you probably could have done this with a single korg wavestation patch.

Thank a lot! I will be adding more patches soon. Will likely post them in the Soundware forum. I too am a huge fan of Weather M's work. He's truly inspirational. For our next project we plan to collaborate on a patch bank together, though, not sure for which synth yet. Thanks again!bftucker wrote:Very nice...and thanks for adding the patches. I really appreciate WeatherM's sound design and music and hope you collaborate more.

i really like the mix. and the vibe of the song. it's cool. i also think i would have liked the song to go into something more dynamic. but i do appreciate your vision.
