MXXX Delay Feedback

I’m new to MXXX and have a question about delay feedback.
Is it possible to add effects to the feedback loop of a delay effect in MXXX?
Currently MMultiBandDelay has saturation in the feedback loop of the delay but it would be really good if other effects could be fed into the loop.
The only way I can think of doing it in MXXX is to stack delays (each with just one repeat) and effects in sequence, so for a 3-repeat delay say you’d need 3 instances of the delay plugin + 3 instances of the effects.
I tried looking through the MXXX manual (silly me!) but couldn't find anything about setting up feedback other than a few references to the fact that it’s included so I assume a some of the features in MXXX are undocumented.

Hi there!
I think you would be best to use the feedback module. You can set it up with a mixer module for example, like in this picture:
Basically you set up any module with right click and choose a feedback channel. In another lane you place a feedback and choose this channel and maybe rout it back to the mixer module for example. This way you can also choose steal input in the mixer module (rightclick) so that you built your own delay, effect, which can have plenty of other effects in the chain as well (in my screenshot it's a reverb, a chorus and a bandpass ... forget about the utility module, since this is just specific for this preset).
Hope this helps!

Thanks Tagirijus,
I've been trying to talk myself out of buying Echoboy in the current soundtoys sale
I just fired up MXXX yesterday after scanning through the manual and still can't seem to connect the two together. Do you know if the 'Building Blocks' and the way the signal chain for all the modules works is documented anywhere? I can't even see a reference to the building blocks in the manual.
On the surface it looks similar to Zebra's setup, but that's where the comparison ends - the routing paths in MXXX seem to make no sense at all to me

Here are 2 MXXX videos I made a little while ago, with pitched delay feedbacks and other stuff which could enlighten the OP a little.

No way don't do it ha ha! It's over $100! You already have more flexibility now in MXXX.Paulnz wrote:Thanks Tagirijus,

Ok so the first lane from top to bottom leave empty as your dry signal. Now the next 5 lanes insert a delay tap in each. Now each delay can have it's own feedback, timing, fx etc.
You could for example add reverb on just one delay and frequency shift another. Tons of flexibility. You can also insert a feedback fx anywhere in the signal path and send it into the input of any fx. Right click on the fx to try, you can have upto 8 feedback channels.
Feel free to ask any specific questions, I'll help.

Thanks Simon/jmg8 that's great
I'm making a little more sense of it now especially after reading the SoundBytes review
I usually head for the documentation first as I can read through it on my lunch hour at work but was hitting a complete blank with MXXX. Hopefully there will be more documentation soon.
I'll have a play with it over the weekend and hopefully I can put my wallet away
The only thing that Echoboy brought to the table for me really were the options in the feedback loop of the delay (saturation and eq etc) but looking at what you've both done it looks like MXXX will just blow it away
