Knobs To Sliders & EFX Question

I wonder if with XML Programming you can make the knobs sliders, because it has xml
programmable interface but I don't know XML, I knew HTML back in the late 1990's but
I don't know XML which would help because I've seen XML Delays and Distortions that
are open sourced on some place like source forge, ...I think Github, but I know they
do exist, the effects in Xml format, I would like to try this but I just recently got the
whole serial thing worked out and now want to know about Keyswitching and GUI stuff
because I would like to make 100% Professional VST's so here's my asking for help, has
anyone tried XML Effects, what about Keyswitching in Groups, and can you have Sliders?
