Hey all,

I've been getting a weird issue with Diva in Ableton. For some reason, every time I I press play then pause in my DAW, the FM OSC knob in Diva automatically changes to -23.68. This gets particularly annoying when I pick out patches, since the sound changes as soon as I hit play and pause.

This issue doesn't occur with the AU version of Diva.

I'm using Ableton live 9.5 64-Bit, and Diva Version 1.3.1

Edit: Updated to Diva 1.4.1, still getting the same bug with the VST

Does this only happen in an existing project or also in a fresh and otherwise empty one?

Although it would puzzle me why it shouldn't happen with the AU, could this maybe be due to what we call an "accidental MIDI learn"? That would explain why whenever you hit play now, your DAW resets that parameter.

You can try un-MIDI-learning the parameter that keep resetting itself by right-clicking the knob and selecting "MIDI unLearn" from the popup menu. It may be necessary to repeat this several times, depending on how often the parameter was assigned accidentally.

Alternatively, just close your DAW and edit or delete the MIDI mapping file, then restart your host and you're good to go. You can find the MIDI mapping file here:
