"Show Melodyne UI" not working in T7

Greetings. I'm fairly new to DAWs, Tracktion being my first. I hope this is a simple mistake on my part. I am not able to get the Melodyne UI to come up in T7.

I've just purchased the T7 upgrade (64 bit) and installed it on a Win 10 (64 bit) machine. I also downloaded Melodyne 4.0.4.1 and got it installed. (It installed both 32 and 64 bit, according to my Windows start menu. I see only one dll file in the target folder: Melodyne.dll with a size of 1,201 KB.) I started Melodyne (64bit) by itself, activated it, loaded a WMA file and manipulated it successfully, then closed Melodyne. Following an older "Melodyne Tips" post here by TSC I made Melodyne my time stretch effect for a clip and got it to stretch time. But when I click on "Show Melodyne UI" nothing happens.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.

BTW I really like the T7 UI updates that I've seen so far. Thanks to the TSC team for those, too.

You need to scan specifically for VST3 plug-ins. These have a .vst3 suffix. On mine (W10 & 64-bit), the file is in
c:\\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Celemony\Melodyne\

On the Settings tab, choose plug-ins and scan. You'll have to add the relevent folder.

Duh. That's it. Being a beginner I didn't know to hunt down a .vst3 file. The installation program put it Common Files even though it put the other files in a different folder where I pointed it. No matter. I added the folder to the scan and now the UI opens in T7 and seems to work perfectly. I've written this down in my notebook of Tracktion lessons learned, so next time someone asks this one, it won't be me.
