Hey guys,
So the main problem is that the automation that I did in Ace 1.0 is assigned to other parameters when you use a newer version of Ace (1.1, 1.2 etc). I've googled about this problem and it seems to be a known issue.
I couldn't find a proper solution to this other than downgrading to 1.0 again, which is fine by me. But now I can't seem to proper uninstall 1.1. I've deleted all the files as they say on their website (In this case Ace instead of Diva):
Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Diva.component
Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/u-he/Diva.vst
Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Diva.vst3
Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/Diva.aaxplugin
Mac HD/Library/Application Support/u-he/Diva/
Mac HD/Library/Documentation/u-he/Diva/
Mac HD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Diva/
Mac HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/u-he/Diva/
Mac HD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Diva/
Version 1.1 still seems to appear in Ableton even when those files are deleted? I couldn't seem to find ''Mac HD/Library/Documentation/u-he/Diva/'', but other than that plus the presets (I want to keep those) are all the files deleted.
Another issue is when I try to install 1.0, it says that the installation is failed because there is no software found to be installed(???).
Hope someone is able to help me out!

The solution is you shouldn't have to downgrade - there's a textfile called 'com.u-he.ACE.publicparams' that determines what params are exposed to the host, it should be here Macintosh HD:Library:Application Support:u-he:com.u-he.ACE.publicparams.txt
Try reinstalling the latest version and it should be there, if you want the params to replicate 1.0 I think you need to delete it (but don't completely trash it just incase you need it again later, just move it somewhere else).
I get confused over this file too, I think there needs to be a better solution, but it should work.

Thanks for your quick response!
I've checked the location you mentioned for the file, but the file isn't there.
The only ones that are there are:
com.u-he.ACE.midiassign
com.u-he.ACE.midimap
com.u-he.ACE
com.u-he.ACE.Preferences
com.u-he.ACE.UIprefs
Problem still not solved

Which version do you have installed right now? If it's the latest version try adding it (attached) - see what happens.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I've tried version 1.4.0 with adding the file you gave. Doesn't seem to change anything unfortunately.
Any other suggestions perhaps?

Version 1.4 should have installed it anyway so I take it you just installed it? If so try removing the textfile again, if that doesn't work I don't know what, it works for me.

It's based on a bug that occurred in 2011. Version 1.1 added a parameter or two that mangled the order of automatable parameters. In V1.2 IIRC we added the com.u-he.ACE.publicparams.txt to resolve the issue and which afaik is compatible with V1.0. This also made versions 1.3 and 1.4 compatible, as long as the publicparams.txt is present. However, version 1.1 can't read that file, but then also 1.1 is the least downloaded and least common version of ACE.
Both ACE and Zebra2, being our oldest products that had feature upgrades with added parameters, require the publicparams.txt to be installed, and our original installers will automatically put it in the right place.
If automation was recorded with either V1.1 or a wrong/missing publicparams.txt, the best way to go about this is to install the latest version of ACE and fix the automation lanes in the host software. As far as I'm aware, all popular DAWs have a feature to reassign parameter automation to another parameter and preserve the originally recorded values. Such that, if you recorded filter cutoff and now it's assigned to filter drive, just assign it back to cutoff instead.
It's been a long time though... it would be great to know the DAW and maybe which version was used, maybe get the project file sent to support at u-he dot com (as I said, 1.4 should be compatible to 1.0... won't bet my life on it though).
