MuLab 7.0 is ready for testing.

M7 intro page: http://www.mutools.com/m7-intro.html

M7 test versions are available in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa

The biggest zip file (+-20 MB) is the complete M7 package, that's the one you need to install first. Then also update the .app (OSX) / .exe and .ID (Windows) files by the ones in the small zip file.
Do not install M7 into an M6 folder.
If you want to copy your M6 settings, pls see http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/docs/mula ... ation.html -> "Updating an existing MuLab installation"

Users that have a M6 user key can request an initial M7 user key that will be valid during the test phase. Pls email me.

The M7 docs are at http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/docs

Still to do: Finetuning and polishing M7, improve the library, create videos, ...
That's for the coming days and weeks.

This is not a release version yet.
Pls take into account that this is a test version so be careful when using this version for important creative work.

All feedback very welcome, especially bug reports and things that really need to be polished before releasing M7.0.
New feature requests will be sorted on the (long) global wishlist and further evaluated when working on M7.x, M8, ... (unless it's about a FR really essential for M7.0)

Cheers!

Jo

Fantastic! Thanks for this great update.

The font is absolutely brilliant, vast improvement and makes MuLab look much more professional imho.

One thing, I suppose is a FR, but still is quite important, I think the list of options should be made into a 'Tree' format, like the Menu structure. Group options into categories where possible and either have others in a universal category or have those leftovers just as they are. It's difficult traversing that list with patience! :x

Bug Found add a mux inside that mux add the sample player double click on it add your sample then click the x to close it then open it again

Incredible update Thanks Jo!

Just opened and immediately made an extreme test
everything works perfectly with the new audio rate modulation
cpu load nonexistent (tried on a 10 years old laptop) indeed improved
I love all the new features!
love the swing function and the option to adjust the swing/velocity for each track
and it seems that everything sounds better!
the new look is perfect and I'm happy that there have been no radical changes I love the MUtools style :tu:
I still have to dig deep, but I'm really impressed!

for mux vst owners there is a M7 test user key?

Some really nice looking enhancements.

Audio rate modulation is huge !

Is the step sequencer 'hard coded' or built in Mux , I couldnt see any obvious additions to Mux that hints at this.

this is my question also.. does Mux have a new step sequencer also, or only Mulab?
