Dear all,

25 years of experience with working in DAW's, like Logic, Protools, Ableton Live, Cubase and Reaper, on mac.

At the end, i stayed with Reaper (and i still am) but i saw the Tracktion 7 release and, being a DAW freak like me, took the plunge and bought it last week.

Although i have still not received a working License key, so i can't fully authorize Tracktion, i did follow quite a few good Tracktion tutorials meanwhile, on the net the last days, mostly from Bill Edstrom.

I must say, i am happily impressed by Tracktion, at first glance, what i have seen in those tuts.

I am very curious about how Tracktion will perform on my macbook 2015; i am "fund of" that "raw" horse power that a DAW can deliver.
Something that Reaper stands out for, being extreme CPU friendly, besides its enormous customisation abilities and outstanding friendly community and endless scripting possibilities.

Maybe, in the end, Tracktion will replace Reaper for me as first choice DAW. 8)

Heads up for Tracktion Devs ; you seem to be doing a evolutionary / revolutionary job in DAW land.

BTW: That Java scripting ability in Tracktion seems pretty awesome and opens up a fine future i think.

Glad you are enjoying it. You don't get a licence key. When you launch choose the option to authorise and you will be asked for your account user name and password. That's your computer authorised and no more annoying white noise. :)

Thank you for your help !

However, inputting account credentials doesn't work for me, i get an error message ; it seems like a bug.
No user error, i am sure.
So i did notify Tracktion support.
They contacted me a few times, but in the end ,i still can't authorize my bought T7.
Bit of a bummer.Not nice.
I am sure it will be sorted out, but this authorisation issue, at the "Beginning of my Tracktion Journey" doesn't feel comfortable.

(I am using T7 mac version - 64bit)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

That's weird. Can you login to your account on the Traction website with the same details?

Maybe T7 is blocked by your firewall, if you use one.

Can you log into your user account? If so try the offline authorisation method (in the My downloads section).

No problem - always a good idea to use this method anyway then you can backup your licence key if you need to reactivate it in future.

aMUSed, i noticed one thang:

I bought the Ultimate pack, which has Mastermix and the synth bundles, besides Trackion 7.
Using the downloaded keyfile for authorizing these , which worked for authorizing Tracktion7, doesn't work for Mastermix and the synth bundles :(

Any clue ??
