Ich habe das Installer-Paket mal entpackt und es fehlt dort tatsächlich die benötigte Datei "Cubase85_64bit.msi".

Hello,
I will change to english so that everyone understands, could you please download the update again and delete the first one?
Maybe it got corrupted somehow.
Best regards,
GN

Unfortunately it's the same behaviour. Maybe you can open your local copy and look into the archive content.
IMO you forget to include the needed Cubase85_64bit.msi.
Here my archive content and you see that the needed file is missing:
(the size of the setup is 328 MB)

Hello,
EDITED: What happen when you right click on it and select open? Instead of double clicking on the .msp file?

same behaviour here you guys should maintenance the maintenance update !
it looks for the first installation path of the Cubase 8.5 installation where the Cubase85_64bit.msi are , and you needs unpack the cubase 8.5 installations archive , and running , in my case Cubase_8.5.15_64bit_Update.msp , to point that to the not previous found Cubase85_64bit.msi , after that the update runs but not via the usually setup exe
not every user are an wizard , and i wonder why steinberg testers not have tried that before anouncing an update

Hello,
Best regards,

Well, the file is zipped I thought it was kind of obvious... you needed to unpack the file.DrumAddict wrote:same behaviour here you guys should maintenance the maintenance update !

you never needed to unzip again the full cubase 8.5 installations archive again for an update .
