Hi,
I record BFD drums in T7 as midi data but I don't want to edit any of my clips and therefore I don't need to see any CC (here hihat cc4) controler data which has been recorded for the hihat open/close state.
When the track height with those midi clips is bigger (editor open) than they disappear automatically... but at smaller trackheights (editor closed) they show as fine white lines...
see screenshot
I tried alt+c (toggle the controllers panel) shortcut but that makes no difference.
What can I do to make Tracktion 7 just display the notes at small track heights.
Many thanks for helping!
regards
how can I hide midi controler data (cc4) which always seem to show at smaller track heights?

thanks for the feedback and taking it on the list!
Another thought... maybe to special ... well, who knows.
Whe you work with only 3 tracks and use the whole screen then those tracks will be quite big. Thats good. But then again the midi editor opens up, i.e. swiping with your mouse might either insert notes accidentally and you can't click drack to position the playcursor.
Suggestion: For those sessions when you only record midi and do cuts to midi clips it might be nice if the midi editor never opens up. It is big on the screen but notes can't be added/deleted/ moved and clickdragging with the mouse is possible like on audio clips.
A toggle option to have the midi editor disabled/enabled would make this possible.
I hope you can follow.
Just thinking out loud....
