T7 Bug - Single Click to open plugin GUI doesn't work initially.

OS X 10.11.3, with Tracktion 7.0.24.

I have the "Single Click on a plugin to open its GUI Window" option set. Initially when adding a plugin, single clicking the filter block does not open the GUI. You have to either double click, or click elsewhere then click the filter block again.*

Here is an image of it in action (note that you can see the mouseclicks with a small circle around the cursor as they occur).

* I don't think "filter block" is the right term, but hopefully you get what I mean.

Same here on Windows with the latest beta. I'm not sure it's a bug but a design choice.
Double-clicking automatically open and closes plugin GUIs.

I could understand that, except I have the option "Single Click on a plugin to open its GUI Window" turned on.

If not a bug, it is an annoying inconsistency.

I personally rather it work as the option implies in all cases.

Another alternative would be to have the plugin GUI open immediately if this option is checked.

That's what I was thinking to myself earlier today. If you're going to insert a plugin, it's to tweak it so the GUI should be shown immediately.

GUI of Plugins always open when 1st added to a track on my system. Once the Plugin "has focus" ie outlined in red, a double click is needed. Otherwise, a single click will open (assuming option is set).

I always assumed this was correct behavior.

As you can see in my gif, the GUI is not opened when I add it.

yes, it should open for you. bug on that platform apparently(and others too?).

works fine on my Win 7 64 bit latest Beta ( with Aero enabled)

How about when you add a rack? does GUI appear?

This is quite confusing now.

I sat down at my laptop (where I first noticed this issue) and now the plugin GUI is opening when I first add it.

HOWEVER, I then went to my iMac later and now it's not loading the plugin GUI when first adding.

I've been trying for an hour to try and figure out what is causing this. It's confusing.
