Hi Vojtech, sorry to bother you, you're probably working on MYYY or trying to figure out how you'll solve the crisis in Europe when you become world leader; but I have a puzzle.
In Reaper (at 142 BPM), MDrummer's little triangle cursor lands on beat 3 when I hear say a snare on beat 2. The sound is lagging a beat behind the graphics.
This does not happen in MD standalone.
I don't have any plugins triggering any PDC.
If I turn off anticipative FX processing the MD cursor is about half a beat ahead...so the lag is less but still there.
I guess the interface OUT audio latency is part of the lag as well.
GPU acceleration settings make no difference.
Anyway, firstly, do you know of something else that might be causing this?
Secondly, is it possible to have MD compensate for this somehow?
MDrummer play cursor ahead of sound in Reaper.

Hi
, yeah, I'll need to solve the future crisis in USA, when that idiot becomes a president (we all know who am I talking about
).
Well, just lower the audio buffer size. Basically the plugin lives in its own "time zone", it thinks the buffer it is processing is "now", but the host mat play it back any time. So if you for example use DirectSound, the delay may be like half a second, in which case what you see will play half a second later. But if you use ASIO and some small buffer, it should be fine.

Der, silly me
, it was an old project and I just realised that I had MSpectralDynamics on the (hidden) master bus. So the lag in sound behind MDrummer's cursor was anticipative FX processing (200 ms) plus interface OUT (5 ms) plus MSpectralDynamics (approx 218 ms). [Total lag was about a beat = approx 423 ms @ 142 BPM.] The lag is a bit disconcerting when checking/editing Rhythms but I guess I could turn off both anticipative FX processing and MSpectralDynamics when doing that. So, not a problem, just an interesting puzzle.
