Looks like ctrl drag zoom works on Mac, and shift drag scrolls - not for you?

hi,
you mean shift/ctrl +mousewheel or shift/ctrl+ click-hold-drag? shift or ctrl+ mousewheel works alright here.
I understand click-dragging to have nothing to do with using the mousewheel... right?
I thought that when I click and hold the mousebutton and then drag the mouse it would either scroll or zoom... correct?
thanks and regards

I wasn't using the mouse wheel, just holding down the left mouse button and dragging with either shift or ctrl selected

OK it works with the mousewheel too - mousewheel + shift = horizontal zoom, mousewheel + ctrl = vertical zoom, mousewheel on own - scroll

ok, that doesn't seem to work here on my Windows 10 PC x64 the way you describe it.aMUSEd wrote:I wasn't using the mouse wheel, just holding down the left mouse button and dragging with either shift or ctrl selected
secondly, I'm surprised that you have to use modifiers while dragging: there's no mention of modifiers in the windows release notes.
Perhaps TracktionDevs can chime in.

Well I would have expected to use modifiers or they would be changing some useful functionality as currently dragging the mouse in a track either moves the play head, if in a non clip area, or the clip itself. I wouldn't want either of those things to change.

Ok, false alarm....pilot error:
I was checking new implementation in connection with the track-header... not on the track with the clips itself. Sorry.
Yes, everthing is alright here as well then.
thanks again and regards
