Where do I limit key/note range?

I'm trying to figure out where I can limit the key/note range. I'm working on a layer in my DAW with two Synthmaster pads and a bass (Rob Lee's Aztecs arp). I want to limit the bass to just the lower octaves. I can do this with my controller keyboard by placing the bass on a different MIDI Channel from the pads and having my controller limit the key range. So I have an easy workaround, but I'd still like to know where I can define this. Thanks for the help.

I would like to know the answer too, I wanted to create a reggae bubble sound, and be able to split the keys, so I could have the lower range for a percussion choppy sound and the higher range for a organ sound.
Synthmaster does have 4 Keyscalers, but I'm not sure how to achieve this ?
