I recently bought my second Muse Receptor (a ver 1 Rev C with Komplete inside) and I tried to register it to my Plugorama account. However, when doing so it states that the unit is already registered. I contacted the previous owner and they said that they never registered it so were not aware of this.
The Plugorama site states that, in order for the unit to be registered to my account it first needs to be de-registered and this costs $35 for the Plugorama Receptor Re-Registration Fee. I bought one of these (Plugorama Order #4091) and followed Plugorama's advice and started a new help ticket (Ticket ID 8559). Unfortunately, the required part of starting a new help ticket asks for the issue and also to provide the serial number of the Receptor you have a problem with. Because I already have a Receptor unit registered to my Plugorama account my only choices were to either select the existing unit's serial number, or the option stating 'No RECEPTOR/MuseBox'. Therefore I could not enter the serial number for the unit that I wanted de-registered. Therefore I outlined this issue in the message section of the new help ticket so that whoever was to deal with the problem would know what I wanted (to de-register a currently registered unit so I could add it to my account.)
I waited 3 days and logged back in to my Plugorama account to see if there had been an response: which there hadn't. I did notice, however, that when clicking on the 'My RECEPTORs and MuseBoxes' button it states the following: You have 0 RECEPTORs and 0 MuseBoxes registered to this account.
It would appear that The people at Plugorama have used the de-registration fee to de-register the wrong Receptor unit. I clearly stated what I actually wanted them to do and they have made no attempt to reply or respond to my messages. I am absolutely disgusted with them for being so rude and not actually doing what I asked. Here is the original message I sent in the new help ticket. Please see if this makes sense as to what I required:
'I have bought a second user Receptor to use alongside my existing one that I already have registered here. However, when I tried to register my newly purchased Receptor on my Plugorama account it states the serial number is already registered. Therefore I purchased the re-registration fee @ $35 and followed your help instructions required to register this unit to my account. However, when creating this new ticket the only serial number that can be entered is the one for my already registered unit, not the serial number from my recently bought one.
Basically I want to de-register the following unit's serial number: K08050110200, so I can register it to my Plugorama account.
Thank you.'
As can be seen, I was explicit in what I wanted, yet they have not done this. I now have no registered Receptors and still cannot register the second hand one I bought. They have not replied to any of the 3 messages I sent over a period of 5 days and when actually calling the help phone number I can't get through as I don't have the priority level they require. I am very unhappy that I have been completely ignored. I am very unhappy that I have been robbed of $35 and I am very unhappy that I can't do the simplest of tasks because they have got it wrong.
Can anyone suggest a way that all of this can be sorted????
