First off - the praise;
I tip my hat for the super fun synths and effects. Been rocking the Tyrell N6, Podolski and the Protoverb now for a while. I love the simple yet expressive sounds. The Protoverb has been super useful for creating super unweildy stuff, for super pad sweeps etc. Decay to 98, and it rings and sings ;)

Secondly - the bug;
Sustain pedal support is broken? Whenever I have hit the sustain pedal, it's like the note-offs are ignored. Quite unfortunate and surely not hard to fix? I'm using the synths mostly in Reaper, but I believe I get this in other hosts as well.

Thirdly - the question;
I want to support your development and am looking to get one of the commercial synths. Question is, which one? :) Zebra? Bazille? all of them? :)

You have to decide what your priorities are. One of the good things about the u-he synths is that they are distinct from each other. There is no way I would give up Bazille, Diva or Zebra. They are each great in their own distinctive ways. Which to start with? You gotta decide that based on your own interests/priorities.

Try Before you buy. Download demo and try which one is the best for you. Personally I own Hive, Zebra2 and ACE. Diva is on the shopping list.

I ended up getting all of them (most of them here on the marketplace). You can't really go wrong with U-he. Hive and ACE have the best return on investment imho. Especially Hive, which became my standard go-to synth. My third favorite is Diva. I found Zebra to be a bit intimidating but I would not want to miss it nonetheless. Bazille gets the least milage in my DAW.

Thanks :)

Yeah I should give the demos some quality time.

I suppose I never find the time nor patience to carefully sculpt my synthesis from the ground up. Most often I'm after quite simple sounding sounds. Sweeping mellow pads, some plucky thumpy bass etc. I do not care too much for crazy envelope control, but I do care about twisting knobs while I play for added expressive power.

I'm no stranger to building stacks of effects as track inserts / sends either, so no huge need for built in effects.

In that case, Hive seems a good start. Quite simple, yet powerful. Awesome presets.

Which u-he synth? I noticed this bug in ZebraCM only.

Vst2, Windows. T6 works ok here with pedal.

I just tried them all and must say I really dig ACE and Diva. I had super fun playing around with the presets.

Zebra 2 is also fun, on the fence here.

Bazille and Hive, well I wasn't inspired by fiddling with the presets. I think I'm allergic to overly complex sequenced presets, I find them very distracting.

Oh well, real quality stuff overall!

I just want to suggest ACE here for one good reason: it has a controller for note velocity.
For some reason this useful control is forgotten by softsynth makers today (they never made the hardware?).
ACE is great to mess around with and discover. Something that is good for inspiration.
Also good to test your computer's ability to handle bigger stuff like Diva.

heh, yeah I manage to get just the one Diva instance stealing like 70% CPU when pressing a bunch of keys.

but it sounds so lovely! :)

I'm probably getting both Diva and ACE...

Those 2 are a fantastic combo... they compliment each other very well

I did the mistake of trying out Satin on the Diva...

Now I own both ;)

This is so good
