I suppose the Rex.dll is for the samplers?
Further i try to get clear why i should now use mux 7 instead of mux 6 ?

REX Shared Library.dll
then its exactly what it says it is; a shared library potentially used by other things, inlcuding hosts and plugins. Its not a VST.
FWIW; Not every plugin is built into one single .dll files, many have other support files with them, including other .dlls. Since those additional .dll files are not actually VSTs, they will 'fail' on a VST scan too. That is perfectly normal behaviour.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

It's not a VST file, it's for REX. Just ignore that file.janhardo wrote:I did a scan for Vst , but Rex.dll is not accepted

Edit: Crossed posts with whyterabbyt, his post explains it better.
There are many reasons: http://www.mutools.com/m7-intro.htmlFurther i try to get clear why i should now use mux 7 instead of mux 6 ?
But of course only you can decide which of the new/improved features are relevant to you.
