just tried to record something in Tracktion on PC and it keeps giving me an error saying that the directory im trying to record too doesnt exist or isnt write enabled. Is there any way to choose where it records too because i cant find it and this location should be fine anyway.
last time i tried this it worked with no problem, same version i think( the newest one).
please help

Did you open a new project? If you did then you had the option of where to save it, and that's the location of the directory(Drive C:name of project for example)If it's an edit in an existing project check on the project page to see where it's located.

or, in the filename entry box keep the bit that says %projectdir%\ then choose a new name.

I'm currently using the Tracktion demo and had this same problem. Apparently, it didn't want to write to my "My Documents" or my desktop in Win XP. I set up a new folder in root C: and it worked fine.
