Hi, Im trying out MNoiseGenerator. I like this plugin but how can I control it so it stops when transport stop playing? I want to simply trigger it with a midi note. Is this feature only in the upgrade version or do I need to program it somehow? Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can use a modulator:
Open the "MULTIPARAMETERS & MODULATORS" section, select "Clear & Learn" for one of them ("MOD 1" or "MOD 2").
Now move the WET parameter from silence and up to desired maximum volume. (EDIT: remember to turn of REC mode afterwards by clicking on the tab where it says REC so it says MOD again.)
Open the modulator tab by clicking on "MOD 1" (or "MOD 2" if you chose that one instead) and select ENVELOPE mode. Set the envelopes mode to midi, adjust envelope to taste if it isn't as you'd like it allready.
Activate the modulator if it isn't active allready, there's an on/off button for each modulator. Here MOD 1 is on and MOD 2 off: There are some other options, but hopefully you'd be happy to ignore those for now and things will just work with the default settings for the rest.
Now feed MNoiseGenerator MIDI notes to output some noise.
Hope that worked for you, let me know if anything was unclear or I f-ed up somewhere in my little runthrough.

If you want it to start and stop automatically when there is music, you could use the modulator in follower mode (I guess it has that?) and just setup min and max to very small values so it always jumps to full volume when there is any bit of audio playing.craigtumps wrote:Hi, Im trying out MNoiseGenerator. Yes it does have follower but midi is fine for me, it works perfectly. Im using it to generate noise on demand then putting it through a trigger gate and then some filters to make my own rides and hats. I find it a lot easier than programming in! Thanks for your help!
