Hi Vojtech,
I can be wrong but it seems that smoothing in analyzers happens after the graph has been converted from the linear to the logarithmic scale. So I was thinking, if the smoothing happens when the graph is still in the linear scale (and when all frequencies look equally sharp), you could avoid its frequency dependent behavior as it works now. Does it make sense?
Cheers,
Vitaly.
Smoothing in analyzers. Idea.

Hi Vitaly,
I actually don't follow - it would CAUSE frequency dependent behaviour. I don't see anything positive in smoothing in linear scale actually.
