Traction Causes Digital Hash and Hum

I purchased a Edirol FA-101 and everytime I turn Traction on, I get a high end digital hash and a low frequency hum.

I have tried my other recording programs and the above isn't present.

I'm driving Edirol crazy and they are replacing the unit which was one of the first off the line.

Is it possible I have the Traction volume settings too high.

I've tried new cords, grounding, lifting, etc.

Anybody having similar problems or have any suggestions.

I have the UA-20 - same results, although I haven't tried it another host, so who knows?
