When I drag the LFO button onto my synth (TAL-Noisemaker) I get to choose which parameter.
Then ... I get an icon right above the track volume meter. So I click that icon on that single specific track and crash ....every time ....
Clicking on the LFO icon in a single track so I can work with it in the bottom work space = tracktion has stopped working ... Tracktion Version 7.1.1 (Built: 5 April 2016) (64-bit) Win10

Just installed ... the public beta version of T7.1.11 is now up.
Grab it from your download "archives" section: https://marketplace.tracktion.com/app/d ... chive/?v=7
and still get the crash when using the LFO button on a single track ...

Hello, I have already submit this issue to Tracktion's developpers.
The only answer was that "it will be too complicated to analyse and solved..."
Hopefully, I do not this answer to my clients.
I would be unemployed for a while

Ouch of an answer.... not sure why devs can't troubleshoot the problem, I mean it's one of main features why I upgraded
was wondering why the devs were not responding or why no one else was having similar problem... does it happen to you on every vsti ?

Hi mrmarch, sorry to hear you received a reply like this, could you let me know the ticket number so I can take another look at the request please?mrmarch wrote:Hello, I have already submit this issue to Tracktion's developpers.

Rest assured we do indeed want to solve this problem, it seems to affect a small number of Windows machines with specific graphics cards or drivers. However, we're unable to reproduce it on any of our test machines so it is proving elusive.
Right now we're looking for volunteers to test builds with various small changes to help us narrow down the problem. If this is something you would be interested in doing please let us know.
Many thanks and once again apologies for any mis-communication here.

And the answer that can be read on the KVR forum :
Marc
And the answer that can be read on the KVR forum :
Sincerly,"Thanks, we're trying to look into this but can't seem to replicate it on any of our test machines. The symptoms would indicate that it is getting stuck in a driver (audio or video) somewhere so may be something unique to these machines? "

Thanks Marc, that support ticket doesn't actually contain the text you quoted so maybe you've got two open? (Sometimes one issue can be listed as a follow-up).mrmarch wrote:Hi here is the referene on the Tracktion's Support (request 5943).

I can assure you we're still looking in to it and with @sunhome's help hopefully we can sort it soon.
Many thanks,
Dave

Hi,
I have found a solution to this issue :
I was able to solve it by resetting the Control Panel/Appearance and Personalization/Display/Make text../Customize your Display/Change the size of text... slider to 100%, logout of Windows user and log back in.
Tracktion Crash when text and icon resolution is up to 100%
Tell me if it's work for you ?
