...would it be possible to include a "noise floor/gate", ala MAutoVolume?...I've noticed having trouble getting MT to "settle" because of some background noise (-40/-50db) in the room, especially in the lower registers, ie the 5/6th strings on acoustic guitars...tia.../s~

I'll check but I don't promise anything. I mean it needs a reasonable level anyways. So why don't you just put it later in the chain??

...indeed, just as you've suggested, I have a "tuner" channel with MDynamics for "gate" and "range" followed by MTuner...having a "slider" built in would simplify things

...come to think of it, why not build MD right in?!?...I use that channel at times to record/translate guitar into midi to fake horn and bass lines...
