It took a while, and I didn't get it done before the original hit 10000 downloads, but Meatbass is finally updated with a GUI for Sforzando, more controls, legato with glide, mod wheel dynamics option, infinite sustain and better vibrato.

The vibrato has humanization and also EQ and volume knobs to simulate varying bow pressure, for adding extra juiciness to slow vibrato. Basically the same stuff as in the updated Sforzando version of the Karoryfer x bigcat cello. A lot of it came from me using these samples to program basslines for tracks I play live and needing to add some features to be able to make them sound more like how I really play them.

I haven't made a demo with the new version yet, but here's a track using one of the multi-voice pizz settings and also using the new cello a lot, including a bridge with extensive vibrato automation:

If it does, please send me a link - these samples are me playing my main instrument, and I am really curious how other people end up using it. And, I know this sounds like Kanye levels of self-absorption, but also really curious how much I will still sound like me to me.

And here's the first track with the updated Meatbass - a fairly normal pizzicato part, not trying to sound like a synth this time. I did use the new portamento feature on a few notes. The vocals, cello and guitars in this song are "real", but the drums are SM Drums using MIDI patterns programmed by our cajon player.
