I think it would be really cool if you could save and recall, for instance, the state of an oscillator or modmapper without a global preset change.

Have a particular shape that you want to use on the modmapper for several patches? A certain waveform that you like for bass patches? Click a drop down menu and recall it!

Or maybe just tiny buttons in the corner of a module with the floppy disc icon and the folder icon.

How awesome would that be?

It is trickier in Bazille than Hive (which has module presets) because of the different ways a module can be wired. For example, if Osc1 is wired to Filter 1 input, Osc 2 cannot also be wired to the same input. So duplicating an Osc can only duplicate Osc inputs and settings, not outputs.

But even that would be a big time saver. I so would like to be able to copy/paste Osc's

Oooh nice. I haven't used Hive but it's encouraging to know that this sort of thing has already been implemented in u-he synths. Full disclosure: I got the idea from Serum. In Serum you can recall LFO shapes, waveshaper graphs, fx racks, etc. Obviously that is a very different synth, but as someone who is starting to come into his own as a sound designer, I just can't stress enough (which I'm sure many of you know better than I) how useful it is to have immediate access to the building blocks you have previously created.

Agreed. I've considered this too. Also, certain settings may not produce the same results depending on what other modules they call. For instance, if you're using a tap map as an oscillator shape, you can get very different results depending on the shape of the current tap map. Honestly, I'd be happy if ONLY the settings of the current module could be recalled. I don't even need any inputs or wiring. The oscillators are fairly complex beasts all on their own, but if you can have a stash of tap map presets along with oscillator presets, you can effectively use phase distortion to turn Bazille into a wavetable synth of sorts.

The fact is, many synths revolve around ease of use. That's nice but I'm glad Bazille is different. If it weren't I wouldn't own it because it wouldn't offer me anything unique (except phenomenal filters). But considering that Bazille requires a certain degree of critical thinking and creativity to set up, being able to recall settings for certain modules is way more important than it is on any other softsynth I can think of. Especially the oscillators, the tap maps, and mod sequencer.
