Some great suggestions: the more aliasing the better. (And I can't imagine having a 96 in/out device with such cryptic names!)
(I'd also love to see aliasing for plugin names: Tracktion is one of the only DAWs where the horizontal space taken up by your plugin name actually makes a big difference. It sucks indeed when MegaCompressorUltimate-64-Mono-Stereo causes your plugin lane to wrap when you'd love to just alias it to MCU-MS.)
