Any Available Autogain Preset?

I suppose you could use a compressors output with an Audio Envelope Follower to create an auto gain module of sorts. Not the most fun task though as auto gain is also very subjective on how it should work.

Perhaps (and btw I would automate the volume in an editor for nuance):
Use an expander set to zero compression but with a raised makeup gain for output. If you have multiple levels of recording in one file, you can set the gain up high and then set a compressor/limiter after that. Might make for a flat sound tho
