Brand new to BioTek and and T7. Got the Ultimate upgrade from T6 and downloaded BioTek but after running the set up, nothing. Should I just uninstall and then reinstall?
I'm using Windows10 X64.

Could you describe "nothing" a little more? Do T6 and T7 not find BioTek when you scan for it?
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Oh, yeah sure. After downloading BioTek from my order page on the Tracktion site, I clicked the installer wizard and it installed but there was no authorization or anything else that was meant to happen. It just said to click finish and the nothing happened. it's not showing up on my desktop, or programs and is not showing up in Trackion 7. I also have T6 still installed, I wonder if that may have something to do with it?

You should be able to have multiple version of the DAW without any problem. I've only loaded an earlier demo of BioTek but it's when I try using it on a track that it brings up the registration dialog box. When I installed the demo it went into c:/Program Files/Steinberg/VstPlugins, so that'll need to be in the list of folders that T6/7 scans. If it isn't there, I'd go with your reinstall plan.

Have you scanned for the plugin?
As Jabe said, make sure "C:/Program Files/Steinberg/VstPlugins" (or "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steinberg/VstPlugins" if you're using the 32-bit version of Tracktion) is in the locations list that appears when you click "Scanning and sorting" from the "Plugins" settings page and the perform a new scan.
If that doesn't work, try dragging and dropping the "BioTek.dll" file on to the plugin list to scan only that file.

Thanks for the reply, I have now solved the issue, it was where I was, or more properly wasn't, scanning.
Thanks again
Dean.
