Hi!
Well it's been a long hard road and finally i think ive found what really would work for me as a musician. I have been using tracking programs like Impulse Tracker and Modplug Tracker, mind you, with pretty damn good results. I mocked out tracktion when I first saw it. I downloaded the demo. I scoffed at it. Then i erased it, downloaded it again, and tried it again. I told myself it's not what I want. Then I finally gave in. My biggest fear I think was how would I get all of my .xi instrument files converted over to use! Some nice people in #k-v-r chat, who recommended tracktion heavily to me despite my animosity, showed me SFZ. So now I can convert all my .xi instruments to .sf2! I'm very excited and am planning on buying Tracktion very very soon. As before, I will be using my purchased copy of "Adobe audition" to record my vocals and guitars over the sequenced music, as well as mastering... Which leads me to my little question ---
is there a "quick" way to rendering track by track to individual wavs with a single key/button?
I have a tascam us428 and im wondering at LEAST if i could somehow set up the transport up with it? My tascam is very good as a small controller for things, and I am so used to controlling transport with it!
Let me know!

Nope. No midi control of Tracktion yet, probably in V2.rpc9943 wrote: I have a tascam us428 and im wondering at LEAST if i could somehow set up the transport up with it?

Don't think so either... you can render each track easily, but if you have n tracks, you'll have to click the render button n times.rpc9943 wrote:is there a "quick" way to rendering track by track to individual wavs with a single key/button?

it's been asked for elsewhere, so i wouldn't be surprised if it worked its way into version 2.
2 will be a paid-for upgrade, however. this MAY cause you to wait til its ready before you buy. of course, you may miss out on making some music in the meantime. i'm pretty sure jules/mackie will have an 'upgrade' price as well as a new price. it would be pretty unfair if they didn't
it's your call whether or not you wait tho. personally, i love my T1, and am happy to have it here working now. T2 will just be more and better.

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
