With each Sylenth1 update that comes, each patch/preset that I use/have used will reset to the default sound. This is an issue, as I will often adapt a preset to suit my needs, update the instrument and find it gone - with no record of what I did.
Any advice as to why this is happening and how to prevent it?

Hi,
We always make sure to keep the Sylenth1 updates FULLY compatible with all older versions.
However, there was a bug in the first Sylenth1 v3.0 beta versions that made Cubase not load presets from other Sylenth1 versions. We have fixed this bug in v3.022 (and any future versions). This means that when you load a project saved with v3.000 to v3.021, you'll have to load the project with that version of Sylenth1. Then save the presets manually via MENU -> Preset -> Save, so you can load them in v3.022 later on. If you don't have installers for the older versions, just contact us for a link. You can easily switch between versions just by switching Sylenth1.dll by the way.
