Hi, the basic poverty version of slick EQ is my go to colour EQ, I like it!

I'm wondering why there isn't a 4 band version, maybe in the GE Edition? Nearly all the classic console strips have 4 bands, so why not Slick EQ, I myself use it in place of such specific emulations.

Just curious would such a thing ever exist, and maybe with interchangeable modes(German/American etc) per band? (I do find some of the curves strange choices) in some sort of 'Master Edition' ?

Thanks. :)

Take a look at SlickEQ M!

As an alternative, check out TDR Nova, the free version has 4 bands.
Fabien from Tokyo Dawn Records

Ah forgot there is the 'Master' mastering edition.

Thanks for the suggestions but neither are what I was alluding to, just a simple channel EQ.. like Slick EQ.. with 4 bands. No plans then I assume.

No worries, was worth a try! :D

Thanks.

I know that's not what you ask for either, but the GE version has an additional "tilt" filter. It requires a somewhat different approach to EQing, but personally I find it much more useful than a fourth band. In fact this is usually the first parameter I reach.

Yep, SlickEQ GE "only" has three bands, but with the HPF, Tilt and LPF you should be able to achieve pretty much any needed frequency curve in a mix scenario.
